This position is responsible for generating reports on inflow and cash flows from stock liquidation by playing the role of an “SMG-Customer Access and Hub”. This would be done through promotional activities and customer and field workers contact in the warehouse, fields, and farms.

  1. Scheduling and executing weekly financial reports with sales estimates and ensuring deposits accordingly.
  2. Support technical training of sales staff on the focus products for the current season/crop to suit standard financial reporting.
  3. Receipt of cash/cheque equivalence from sales
  4. To develop and maintain Professional conduct with customers
  5. Managing daily Banking of sales cash and petty cash reports with the Directorate of Finance.
  6. To develop product brand in the area of operation;  carry out Brand promotion/field promotional activities
  7. Establish and develop brands for new products in agrochemicals, seeds, detergence, and fertilizer.
  8. Responsible for executing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives.
  9. Evaluates customer research, market conditions, competitor data and implements marketing plan.
  10. Assist in managing new store openings – event planning, visual merchandising, etc.
  11. Weekly and monthly reporting on highlights of activities.

Qualifications, Skills and Experiences

  • The ideal applicant must hold a Bachelor of Science in Business administration, HND in Accountancy, Degree in Economics or any qualification in sales, marketing or business-related field will be added advantage.
  • He/she should have good sales and presentation skills, strong communication, interpersonal, customer relationship, and management abilities.
  • He/she should be knowledgeable in the Ghanaian Agri input industry and capable of advising on the products active ingredients, formulations, and market trends and be ready to adjust with the detergent industry.
  • The applicant should have the ability to work in a multicultural environment and must be computer literate.
  • The applicant should have at least 2 years’ experience in agricultural sales/ Accountancy work/warehouse cash management.
